Internet Radio

I think this is one of those things that is obvious to some people, but amazing to others.
Well, services like Twitch and Youtube provide livestreaming of video content. But a live MP3, OGG, or OPUS stream is also possible.

They are effectively internet radio stations. Many media player softwares support entering a URL to audio files, including live content.
Metadata can also be passed, so you can get detailed info like song title / artist / etc... as long as the operators of the station aren't too lazy to enter it.

Listed below are a few that I frequent. I'm usually listening to Nectarine.
Most of these sites have an in-browser player (linked), but you should plug the stream URL into your media player.
On Windows, XMplay or Winamp would be my choice.
On Linux, I use Audacious. Find what works for you!
